Coach Re-accreditation

In order to maintain a Cycling Australia National Coaching Accreditation, it is necessary to renew your Cycling Australia Membership annually and renew your Coach Accreditation every four years.

Coaches who do not maintain their accreditation during the four year period, including updating the documentation listed below, may not be eligible to renew their accreditation, will not be able to carry on coaching roles representing clubs, states or national bodies and will not be covered for coaching activities by Cycling Australia insurance during the period of 'non-accredited' status.

  • A signed Cycling Australia Coaches Code of Behaviour
  • A letter from your Member State or Club President confirming your coaching activities, printed on letterhead.
  • A summary of coaching and professional development activities over the last four years
  • A copy of current First Aid Certificate. Further information on First Aid Requirements found here
  • A copy of current Working with Children Check relevant to your State/Territory law. More information checks for your State/Territory can be found here
  • A copy of Sport Integrity Australia Anti-Doping Certificate (Level 1) - There are 6 online learning modules to be completed. The link for this online course is https://elearning.sportintegrity.gov.au/

Attach all paperwork to the Coach Re-accreditation Checklist Form and submit it to coaching@cycling.org.au.

Once your re-accreditation paperwork has been received by Cycling Australia, you will recieve an invoice for payment. Once payment has been effected, please allow 2 weeks for your re-accreditation to be processed. Please note if you would like a re-accreditation added to your membership card this will need to be ordered via the membership team at membership@cycling.org.au and may incur a processing fee.
