Matthew Bazzano has been elected as the new chair and president of Cycling NSW after a meeting of the board of directors yesterday.
Bazzano joined the board of directors in May last year. He is a member of St George Cycling Club and the managing director of Shimano Australia Cycling. He was the 1990 amateur Australian road race champion and represented Australia at the Commonwealth Games and World Championships.
Bazzano's election comes after former president Glenn Vigar chose not to contest the election for directors at last month's annual general meeting.
