In just a couple of day’s time Cycling Queensland will no longer exist, and for good reason. We will be folding into AusCycling, which is looking to bring together Road, Track, BMX, and Mountain Bike. The aim is to bring the sport together, and become the biggest participation sport in Australia. These are big aspirations, and something that Cycling Queensland, our Clubs and Members have been committed to for some time.
With 127 years of history there have been so many people who have given so much. To the Sponsors, Partners, Members, Life Members, Clubs, Commissions, Staff and Board, past and present – Thank You.
While this is good-bye to Cycling Queensland, the opportunities that AusCycling will bring to Queenslanders and Australia will far outweigh any downside.
From the 1st of November AusCycling will start to receive information from AusCycling, which will answer any of your questions. There will be some changes to email addresses, websites and phone numbers. However, for the short term you will still be able to reach the same people, the same way you do now.
Let’s Ride Together!
