Cycling Queensland, D'Aguilar Range Cycling Club and Queensland Cyclocross presents the 2020 QLD State Cyclocross Championships.

The 2020 QLD State Champs will be held at Baden Powell Park in Samford with all the off cambers, climbs and turns this venue has become known for.

The events will be run according to 2020 MTBA Mountain Bike Technical Regulations.

Entrants to the QLD State Cyclocross Championships must hold a MTBA or CA Race Membership, or appropriate day permit. MTBA Free Trial Membership holders are also eligible to enter.

This event requires Cyclocross Bikes as defined in the MTBA Technical Regulations in all race categories with the exception of Open, the U13 Junior category and Kids Racing.

Age categories are calculated to align with the UCI CX 2020-21 season and as such, ages will be calculated based on rider age on 31 December 2021.

All riders must register for the event online prior to the event date. Riders arriving at the course must first sign on, present an appropriate licence and pick up their race numbers and timing tags at the registration table.

All riders must sign-on at least 30 minutes prior to their event start time.

Our events are community events, organised by volunteers and run by volunteers. There's no big governing body, professional event managers or pool of resources. Just a group of cyclocrossers putting on races for other cyclocrossers.

We need help on Sunday with things like course building, race marshalling and helping out at the rego desk. All these jobs are only for an hour or so, can fit in around your racing and require no prior knowledge, just a willingness to help.

These are community run events and they're only as good as what the community puts into them. Please consider volunteering.
