Technical Regulations

There are three levels of rules that are applicable to cycling in Victoria:

• International Cycling Union (UCI): These regulations are specific to UCI Sanctioned events or where the Cycling Australia / Cycling Victoria regulations may be silent.
• Cycling Australia (CA): These are the rules that all non-UCI events in Victoria and Australia must be conducted under.*
• Cycling Victoria abides by the Cycling Australia Technical Regulations however there are specific regulations regarding races that are specific to only Victoria.  

It should also be noted that a number of events have event regulations. These will be provided by the organiser in advance of the event.
